Tools

As the HSM Dinamo is a device for use over a network, in certain scenarios debugging connectivity problems can be made more effective by using certain tools. The HSM console provides two well-known and widely used tools: Ping and Traceroute.

They work as standard: the operator indicates an IP address as the target and the HSM's communication subsystem uses the ICMP protocol to perform some tests and collect time measurements, which are displayed on the screen at the end of the test.

To use it, enter the Target address, choose the tool, select Run and press ENTER.
