Interfaces 1 and 2

The HSM has two network ports, named 1 and 2, which can be used independently or aggregated. When used independently, the IP address and mask are configured here. When the ports are configured to Bond, ports 1 and 2 become Slaves and the status of the ports is shown here.

The IP address must be entered in dotted-decimal notation format (dot-decimal notation), for example 207.142.131.235. The netmask can be entered in dotted-decimal or CIDR notation, for example /24but is always displayed in dot-decimal notation.

The MAC Address of the HSM interface and the status and speed of the link are shown on this screen.

Once the values have been entered, use the Update button to activate the change. If there are any errors or inconsistencies in the data entered, an update failure message will be displayed.

The network settings are changed immediately after confirming the Update button.

The HSM leaves the factory configured for network speed auto-negotiation. In the Speed option you can change the speed and force a specific mode, including choosing between Half Duplex and Full Duplex.
