On the Windows platform (32-bit or 64-bit), the library (components with application programming interfaces) is installed by running the installer program. The support (dll) and development (sdk) libraries, the CLI (Command Line Interface) console for managing the HSM and the graphical console for managing the client software will be installed.

The HSM client software is compatible with Windows version 8 or higher.

For x64 platforms, the specific installer must be used. If in doubt, contact your supplier. For 64-bit applications, the 64-bit libraries must be used.
After installation, the HSM SDK will be installed using the following directory structure:

Administrative permission is required for installation.
When you run the installer program, the following screen will be displayed:
Click Next to continue, you will be presented with three types of installation. The Custom type is reserved for installations with remote operations and in this option you can also change the default installation folder. Select Typical or Full to accept the default options. Full installation is only necessary in environments where remote device management with a smart card reader will be used.
On the next screen, click Install to continue the process. Windows User Account Control will ask you to confirm the installation. Confirm to continue.

To register some components on the system, the installation process requires elevation of privilege.
At the end of the process, you should see the screen below. Select the checkbox if you want to run the DinamoCon console immediately. It is not necessary to restart the server or workstation after installation.
If you have any difficulties, consult your supplier. There is an installer for 32-bit systems (dinamo-a-b-c-x86-setup.msi) and one for 64-bit systems (dinamo-a-b-c-x86-setup.msi). The 64-bit package also includes the 32-bit versions of the libraries.
The installation packages are versioned and digitally signed (as are all the libraries and console). If there is a previous installation with an older version, the installer will update the components to the latest version. In this update process, the settings are maintained.
To uninstall, use the Uninstallshortcut in the Windowsshortcut menu ( HSM group Dinamo ) or the system control panel. The uninstall process will remove the settings.
