OEM code
Displays the security code recorded in the HSM 's protected memory during the equipment's manufacture; see the OEM Code topic for details.
The OEM Code should be used to verify the integrity of the equipment, and its value should not be disclosed or written down.
When the HSM detects a violation, the OEM Code is immediately destroyed in the HSM 's protected memory (even when the device is switched off), from which point it is no longer possible to access its value. Only if the manufacturer intervenes can the OEM Code be saved again.
