Attributes

Main menu option: 20 - Attributes

Displays user attributes such as type, lock status and system permissions. For a user of the User type, the user's own attributes will be displayed; for a user of the Operator type, the attributes of any HSM user can be displayed and modified.

Option :

An Operator user can display the attributes of any HSM user and also modify these attributes. The possible changes to attributes are:

  1. System permissions: enables or disables the user's system permissions.

  2. Type: promotes a user of type User to Operator or brings a user of type Operator to type User. The operation must be confirmed. Careful use of this option is recommended.

  3. Lock status: allows you to lock and unlock HSM users.

    Attention

    If the master user is locked out, it can also be unlocked via the local console.
