Main menu option: 44 - Tools...

It helps to debug connectivity problems using some well-known and widely-used tools: Ping and Traceroute.

They work as standard: the user indicates an IP address as the target and the HSM's communication subsystem uses the ICMP protocol to perform some tests and collect time measurements, which are displayed on the screen at the end of the test.

Info

The tools are run on the HSM and not on the user station where the console runs.
